“Repeat after me: tree-vitch-ki-at-vitch-ki.” Footwear brand by Lithuanian designer Victoria Andrejeva is playfully translated from “a shoe by Victoria'' in old Slavic language. Founded in 2011, Andreveja references remnants of utilitarian and soviet culture and baltic heritage in her work, leaving traces of childhood memories throughout her work. Working between her studio in London and atelier in Italy to develop her range of footwear and accessories, a dedication to traditional shoemaking techniques and scrupulous research are a clear testament to CHEREVITCHKIOVITCHKI’s craftsmanship.
